Fingerprinted
Well, now we wait and see. They had a new machine. They checked and doubled checked that the prints were good. But now they get sent to the FBI, and they can decline them if they think there is a problem with the prints. So now some more "pins and needles" waiting.
It's Todd's birthday. Hip hip hooray ;-)
I am determined to get something done in Sam's room. I have to get all my computer stuff out of it and call and get another internet provider. Currently I have a cable modem, but need to cut costs, so hope to be going with DSL. Making those calls just hasn't made it very high up on my "to do list" so far. Also my cats litter box and food bowls are in that room. And have been for 10 years. I have one high anxiety kitty, Grace, who is not going to deal well with us moving all their stuff. Ugh. Now you know why I have been putting it off ;-)
Then paint ceiling and walls, my MIL is going to wallpaper on full wall and do border all around. Then we get the carpet laid. Ack. Oh not to mention painting furniture.....

New Stats on Sam
Inna called me Friday morning. She said she had news. Well let me say first off that my brain just clicked off. That was it. Gone.
You see I knew she wasn't calling to say there was a new video, so I though she was going to say we had a travel date. I just went into shock.
Thankfully she kept talking and I finally tuned back in. She was telling me she had updated stats on Sam and some descriptions of him. Of course she had to repeat everything she had said in the beginning of the call :-)
He is now 28 inches long (72cm), and has lost a bit of weight. Seems to be just under 20 pounds. Head is 17.9 inches (46cm) and chest is 18.3 inches (47cm).
She was very tickled that the first thing they listed in describing Sam was that he "laughs loudly". That's our boy.
He has good support on his hands and arms when he is on his stomach. He can sit up with support (not on his own). Interested in toys and puts toys in his mouth. And he "eats with appetite". I think that is apparent.

No new video this month
Inna called me to tell me she talked directly to the coordinator. The coordinator admitted that a new video was not done. There were so many new children to video that she forgot or ran out of time, or whatever. So now we know to stop waiting each day. Inna apologised over and over-it's not her fault at all. She said the coordinator would not be back to the area until the end of November.
